Terms
Last updated November 6, 2026
The short version: we read the report you upload and point out charges that may be worth disputing. You decide what to dispute and file it yourself. We're not lawyers, we don't work for the delivery apps, and we can't promise any money back.
What unComped does
unComped is a tool for restaurant businesses, not for personal use. You download an error charge report from DoorDash, Uber Eats or Grubhub and upload it here. We check each charge against a fixed set of rules (the app's deadline, the amount, the type of complaint) and show which ones may be worth disputing. That check is free. For a one-time price, shown before you pay, you can unlock dispute letters written from your report, ready to paste into the app yourself. DoorDash's dispute form has no box for a letter, so for DoorDash you get which items to tick and which reason to choose, plus a letter for DoorDash Support if a dispute is turned down.
We're not a law firm
unComped is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. The letters are templates filled in with the details from your report. Using unComped doesn't make us your lawyer, and it is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. If you want legal advice about a charge or your contract with a delivery app, talk to a licensed attorney.
You file your own disputes
We never log into your delivery accounts, never ask for your passwords, and never submit anything on your behalf. You choose which charges to dispute, fill in anything left in [brackets], check that each letter is accurate, and send it yourself. Only dispute charges you believe weren't your restaurant's fault. You're responsible for following each app's rules for your account.
No guaranteed results
The delivery app decides every dispute. We don't promise that any charge will be reversed or that you'll get any amount back. The totals on your check are charges that may be worth disputing, not money you're owed. The check can be wrong, for example if your report is missing details or an app changes its rules or deadlines, so confirm the deadline in your app before you rely on it.
Not connected to the delivery apps
unComped is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by DoorDash, Uber Eats or Grubhub. We use their names only to say which reports we can read. Their names belong to their owners.
Paying
Unlocking letters is a single card payment, processed by Stripe. There's no subscription and nothing renews. The price is shown on the button before you pay.
Refunds
If you're not happy, email hello@getuncomped.com within 30 days of paying and we'll refund the full amount you paid. You don't need to give a reason. Refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually show up within 5 to 10 business days. Please email us before disputing the payment with your bank; it's quicker for you.
Your report
We keep your upload and your results for 90 days, then they're deleted automatically. Our privacy notice explains what we collect and who can see it. Only upload reports for a restaurant you own or manage.
Limit on what we owe you
We provide unComped as it is, without promises beyond the ones on this page. As far as the law allows, the most unComped will owe you for anything to do with the service is the amount you paid us, and we're not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost sales, lost profit or time spent on disputes. We're also not responsible for what the delivery apps decide, including charges they don't reverse or any action they take on your account.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The terms in place when you paid apply to that payment.
